Boston area singer-songwriter Howie Newman has released his latest full-length album, It Sure Beats Workin'.
Featuring a wide range of rhythms and styles, this CD incorporates rock, country, folk, calypso and bluegrass with a good helping of humor. It includes some political commentary, too. Full band arrangements with some of the top local musicians.
